Argumentenkaart (NL): Neutral overview of big non-European cloud services

On February 4, 2025 AMS-IX, one of the largest internet hubs in the world, and ECP platform for the Information Society, presented a neutral overview with all the pros and cons of non-European cloud services (Arguments Overview – in Dutch: Argumentenkaart) the Digital Affairs Committee of the House of Representatives. This Argumentenkaart was also presented at the Data Sharing Festival 2025.

Overview of all pros and cons

Members of the House of Representatives (but also other politicians, policy makers and opinion makers) can use this overview to form a position on this complicated issue. The Arguments Overview (NL) provides an insight of all the pros and cons of the use of non-European cloud services. With this Arguments Overview, AMS-IX and ECP collaborated with the Argumentenfabriek and used input from a wide range of experts to develop an overview that aims to contribute to the quality of the debate on the use of non-European cloud services and help organizations and governments to make well-considered choices.
