Dutch minister of Economic Affairs and Climate visits CoE-DSC booth at Hannover Messe 2025

On March 31 2025, the Dutch minister of Economic Affairs and Climate, Dirk Beljaarts visited the booth of the Centre of Excellence for Data Sharing and Cloud (CoE-DSC). Peter Verkoulen (directeur CoE-DSC) and Sjoerd Rongen (coordinator Centre of Excellence for Digital Product Passports – CoE-DPP) pitched the CoE-DSC (and CoE-DPP as part of that) and emphasized the importance of collaboration to the Dutch minister.

Part of this pitch was also Jakub Boratyński from DG GROW and Teresa Oberhauser from Circularise.

Collaboration is everything, not just within The Netherlands, but also in an international context. With our common goal to create new business opportunities for Dutch and European companies. But also to become more self-provisioning in digital solutions.

Looking Back at a succesfull Gaia-X Tech-X & Hackathon 2026 in Athens

At the Gaia-X Tech-X & Hackathon #9 in Athens, CoE-DSC and TNO played a prominent role in advancing trusted data sharing and interoperability within the European digital ecosystem. A major highlight was the CoE-DSC/TNO team winning the first prize at the hackathon, achieved with an AI-powered solution that enhances trusted collaboration between digital services. The event also showcased important progress in trust and compliance frameworks that support the future development of interoperable European data spaces.
