3rd International Conference on Digital Sovereignty (ICDS) 2026
The third International Conference on Digital Sovereignty (ICDS 2026) will take place from 25–27 November 2026 in Oslo, Norway, hosted by the Institute for Energy Technology (IFE). As the world’s only conference dedicated exclusively to digital sovereignty, ICDS brings together policymakers, industry leaders and researchers to address challenges around trust, resilience and autonomy in digital ecosystems.
The conference combines three elements: a high-level Industry Day focused on real-world strategies and challenges, practical training sessions, and peer-reviewed research presentations covering the technological, legal and societal aspects of digital sovereignty. Building on the 2024 and 2025 editions, ICDS 2026 aims to further strengthen international collaboration in this field. Selected research papers will also be published in the Springer Proceedings on Complexity.
