On Tuesday the 21st of November, the Authority Consumer & Market (ACM) organises a knowledge session to exchange views with various parties on the importance of data sharing and good supervision, in this case on sharing traffic data.
As part of new digital legislation (including the Data Governance Act and the Data Act), the ACM as intended regulator is exploring what the supervision of these laws will look like and it would like to do that with market parties and with other regulators involved. This knowledge session on sharing traffic data is the opportunity to do so. It is a complex topic in terms of supervision, with several supervisory bodies involved in a developing market where economic, technical and safety issues play a role.
During this event, the CoE-DSC, TNO and RDW, among others, will present recent research on data and mobility. KPN, Connekt, network for mobility and logistics, and data share supporter iShare will present their projects. Industry organisations BOVAG and the RAI association will share their experience with this topic. There will be an interactive part and an opportunity to network.
Please be aware that this meeting will not be available online.
Location: ACM, Muzenstraat 41, Den Haag
When: 21st of November 2023. Walk-in from 13:30, starts at 14:00, ends at 18:00 (including drinks and networking)
