On 27 June 2023, the EU reached an agreement on the new EU Data Act, a comprehensive data legislation that will introduce far-reaching rules on access to and use of data in the EU. The EU Data Act aims to boost the EU’s data economy by unlocking industrial data, optimising its accessibility and use, and fostering a competitive and reliable European cloud market.
On the 11th and 12th of September, CMS organises a webinar series that provides an overview of the key provisions of the EU Data Act, with a focus on the rules that will apply to cloud services and connected devices. The following topics will be discussed:
